Op Sceptre (Knife Crime) week of events

Dear Residents 

Officers from your local neighbourhood policing team will be holding the following Knife Amnesties as part of Op Sceptre.

Op Sceptre is a National  Week of Action to focus on Knife Crime.  From Monday 19th May 2025 until Sunday 25th May 2025 Wellingborough  Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out  their week of action.  There will be Education and Awareness as we speak to young people about the dangers of carrying knives, Knife Amnesties where you can safely dispose of any unwanted knifes as well as Patrols and enforcement.

10:00 - 14:00 Partnership surgery with NNC – Swansgate, Market area – Look for the Beatbus

Wednesday 21st May 2025

Kinfe Amnesty Surgery and Crime Prevention Roadshow

11.30-12.15 -Finedon Recreation Ground 

13.45-14.30 – Little Harrowden (near The Lamb Pub) 

15.00-15.45 – Earls Barton Co-op 

Please come along to speak to your local officers and dispose of any unwanted knives and sharp items from within your home. 

This is to help tackle knife crime in location which is a priority for Northamptonshire Police.
